I have been using Share port on all my computers to share an HP printer. The other 4 computers pick up the printer just fine. 3 wireless and 1 wired. One of my wireless computers has stopped connecting to the printer with the Share port. I have uninstall it and installed it again to see if that would work, still it cannot find the printer. I rebooted the router a few times and it worked once and then stopped again. Is there anything else I can try? I haven't changed anything on my computer since installing it the first time.

This kinda proves my pint that most errors with Shareport are caused by network/configuration issues on the client PC.
That does not help you ofcourse.... ;)
You might want to try removing your printerdriver and install new ones (if they are already the latest its only reinstalling). It might be necessary to reset the TCPIP stack and Winsock2 stack. As a last resort you can remove the NIC from Windows Devicemanager (also removingg the driverset), and add the NIC again after a reboot (so no physical removal from the PC case!).

Ok, I did all that you said to do and it isn't working still. The shareport icon is Red and sometimes it will turn green and there isn't anything to connect to. I downloaded the new one form the dlink site and it didn't work either so I went back to the older version I had. I even tried the new one on the wired PC and it didn't pick the printer up on it at all. So i had to revert back tot he older version and it picked it up great. I tried turning the firewall off to to see that would work that didn't either. I have shared that printer on the shared PC and i just connect to it and print from it .

The new 1.10 version only works with firmware 1.30+.

Ah ok, I just wish I could get it to work again on here. I am planning on building a new computer soon and hopefully it will work on it.
