I have the DHP-309AV kit. It seems to work but I need to able to configure these units directly. Will the Powerline AV Utility work with these units to control the setting of the security keys or is there is some other method. This baloney of pushing a button does not cut it for me.
Also is there anyway to disable the power saving mode and how many of these devices are designed to work together on the same plug network?

Not sure if any thing will configure these since these are designed as a Pass thru networking product. You should phone contact D-Link support and ask about configurations and such. I don't see any documents or anything. Seems like these are just a switch of some sorts connected to the power plug. May not be any configurations needed. Good Luck.

Hi, I also have DHP-309's and I installed the D-Link Powerline AV Utility version 1.0, and I can view the local unit, but not the remote unit, so not sure whether this is due to incompatibility with the software or something else. I know there is a later version 2.12, but can't find the link for it on the DLink site?

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and inquire about the SW versions and support.
Let us know if you find out anything.
