Title: Auto log off
Post by: Jim937 on May 24, 2013, 10:24:31 PM
Hi,

How can I shut off the timer for Auto Log off, when configuring my router in my WIN7 browser?

My computer has a PCI card D-Link DFE-530TX+ it is wired to the router, can I get 11AC 5G speed without a special AC11 adapter?

This DIR-810L replaced my DIR-655 router.

Thank You...Jim

Auto log off can't be shut off.

You'll need one of the DWA-180 or 182 to get AC connection speeds. I just got the 180 and it seems to work well so far with my 810L.

Hi,

Maybe in the first firmware update...the Auto log off feature can be optional or removed.

Is there a PCI card for AC11.

Thank you...Jim

Hi,

Found several Dual band PCI cards at Newegg, a few AC rated.

Your suggestion Furry looks to be the best for a wireless AC adapter. I can use it with either of my 2 desktops [I build my own], a ROKU & my Blue ray player with internet apps.

D-Link DWA-180 Wireless AC1000 Dual Band USB Adapter IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 300Mbps (2.4GHz) or 650Mbps (5GHz) Wireless Data Rates WPA2...$49.99

Thank You for the help...Jim
