Title: Motion detection not working on DCS-932L
Post by: raoulteeuwen on June 02, 2013, 02:05:47 PM
Hello.

After some time, i decided to set up my DCS 932L again. Did all the setup steps, updated to the latest firmware (Firmware Version   1.06 (2012-12-21), Agent Version   2.0.16-b42, firmware filename dcs932l_v106_b4.bin ), i am getting a live picture in MyDlink and on my Android etc. I have setup email and ftp and both configured for motion detection. Test of both email and ftp work fine.

But motion detection doesn't seem to work at all. Found http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48186.0 and tried both 90, 100, 10 and 5 sensitivity.

Could it be something with the latest firmware (which i updated to)?

I just tried Sensr.net, and that is receiving data, but i'm not sure whether that is Sensr doing anything, or the DCS932-FTP: i also tried mangocam.com and FTP-data did not show up there. And as i don't receive email, i reckon maybe it's Sensr doing something to get data.

Are you sure motion detection isn't working? Sounds like email notifications may not be setup properly, which would cause a failure in motion detection notification.

I have the same problem. Email test works ok. But the motion detection did not send the message. Firmware is v106_b4. I have tested more than one network, and the same settings work on another camera with firmware 1.04.
