Title: "Problem saving setting - try again" when password entry
Post by: MrMrMr on June 06, 2013, 07:05:01 AM
Wow I'm so so frustrated with this. I already have a DCS-930 and works fine on my iPhone as well over 3G.

I've just got a DCS-932 and trying to set it up. It won't register at 1st with the MyDlink servers it said so I ran the wizard again....and again....and again...and again...

Now it just states on the password setting "problem saving your settings, click next and try again". This doesn't work. I can log on via web browser.

I've tried all sorts.

Updating firmware
Rebooting router and PC
Factory reset camera via web interface
Factory reset camera with paper clip on button on camera
Different browsers
Different computers
Different cables

Im using the latest setup from the website

Nothing works. I've spent (wasted) a whole afternoon on this. Can someone please please help, it won't get past the password screen now.

Thanks

Sorted...

contacted support, they linked me to a new version of the setup wizard to download, this worked and went past the password issue straight away

4 hours and all it was was a wrong wizard...for me anyway

The newer firmware versions for some D-Link cameras are incompatible with older Wizard software.

So shouldn't the updated setup wizard be available first for new users, before the firmware? This wasted my whole afternoon messing about.
