Just ordered a third device for a special price of just under 150€ here in Europe. Despite of of some bugs and flaws I really think that this product is worth for the money. And what's the best, the new FW release fixes most of the issues that have been annoying me, including the clicking of the audio and the possibility to see the live video directly via MyDlink without using the Advanced Settings interface.
The MyDlink cloud service is excellent if you have have an ISP that cannot provide you public IP addresses. Good job D-Link so far, and I'm still expecting new FW releases where e.g. the issue of overwriting the same file via FTP is addressed (this is actually the one and only feature I'm still missing...) :D

It needs better WiFi sensitivity, with or without an external antenna.
I've tested multiple 2132's and 932's near the same router and camera location, and in each case the 932's are superior in sensitivity. Why is this ? Lower resolution ? Often the 2132 picture is black, whereas the 932 is visible.

Can the DCS-2132L resolution be throttled down to match the DCS-932L to test your theory?

Good question, but this 2132L is far from a wonderful product. It is annoying and unreliable, even close to the wireless router.

On each of my 2132L cameras, even if the video shows (Android, 4G) within two seconds it cycles, goes black, and "The video stream from your device was lost. Please try again (1_0_5_4_0_0)"
What do these numbers signify ?

I just noticed, a lot of the complaints here with connection issues are related to Apple equipment.
