I'm trying to back up my DNS-320L disk using the Mac program ChronoSync. It run for a while but then stalls doing a "Collecting Info" or "Analyzing". At the same time opening a window of the NAS disk is taking many minutes. Selecting "Hard Drive Info" in the Web interface resulted in several minutes of a spinning blueish ring. I updated the firmware to 1.02 but that didn't help. In the "Resource Monitor" window the "Utilitazion ratio" (sic) is shown as 99.0%. Bandwidth is zero. The highest four CPU-using processes are all "smbd", totaling 31%.
Is there any way identify the problem?
