Hi,
How do I get WOL (Wake on lan) working for the DIR-605L over the internet.
(Hardware Version: Ax, Firmware Version: 1.14)
I have followed all the tutorials I could find, but I can't get it to work. (even the ones where I overrule the javascript validation and forward udp port 9 to 192.168.0.255 or dhcp reservation to ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff for an unused IP)
I find it's odd that 'Wake-on-lan' is mentioned in the 'Advanced port forwarding rules' as an application but isn't mentioned in any faq or manual.

- What region are you located?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?

I'm located in Belgium.
My ISP is Telenet and I have a Motorola / SBV5120E (DOCSIS) model.
Not that it matters, I guess.
What I now have discovered:
When I send the WOL magic package, right after I shutdown my server, it works.
But when I wait for more then 5 minutes, I'm unable to wake my server.
I't seems that the router does not know how to forward the WOL package after the ARP table gets flushed.
In the log from the router I read: 'Per-source UDP Flood Attack Detect (ip=213.119.x.x) Packet Dropped'.
The IP is from my iPhone.

I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and inquire about this. Seems like it works to a point then stops.
