Title: Help Router Password

I have been trying to log into my router. Problem is when I try to log in as admin leaving the password blank, I get invalid password. I reset my router by holding the button down and yet it still gives me invalid password. If I switch to User and leave the password blank I can go in but I cant change anything. Please help. I've reset the router many times but it still has a password on it somehow.

I use the d-link dir-601 router.

• What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
• Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on routers web page under status.
• What region are you located?

What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection[/list]
