Title: 320L appears dead
Post by: Rich1701 on July 21, 2013, 04:06:10 AM
Morning,

I've had the unit for about six months and it has been working well.  Today it seemed to disappear from my LG tv.  Whilst looking for some sort of reset button I accidentally pulled out the power cable..  The unit now won't respond to anything. The power light is permanently flashing blue. A reset does nothing. There is no other activity ie no fans spinning and no hard drive movement.

Has any one any thoughts?

Thanks in advance

if you had them plugged in and on for 24/7 it is a possibility the power supplies may have died...as in not functioning correctly (possibly due to Caps)

A couple of drives sucking on a 3 Amp max wall wart
is probably going to give it a work out...
Id expect them to do a reasonable amount of time..before failure ..but well...

thought they should be cover By warranty I suppose..??
So Id be RMAing them..... Contact Dlink

I had the same problem.
I think it's a problem with the temperature sensor.
After cooling nas at a temperature less than 10 degrees Celsious (50 degrees Fahrenheit) for few minutes my nas has worked.
But if I turn it off and restart it,  the device does not boot  and the power light is permanently flashing blue.
