Title: My Files access issue via web-interface
Post by: nKognito on July 30, 2013, 01:44:46 AM
I added two groups where each on of them contains of one user. First one has an access to all network shares (editor) while the second one has an access only to the single share (reader).
Then I installed mydlink Cloud solution and added these two users to mydlink Cloud. Now they can get an access to NAS via xxx.mydlinkcloud.com.
The problem is the following: when editor logins to the web-interface and clicks on "My Files" link he can see al the sahre he able to see. But when reader tries to do the same think he sees nothing even the single share he has to see.
The question is why?

Thank you

Do you have checked that reader have access rights in the share folder on sharecenter application ?
Acces rights can be implemented (write/read/etc.) can be ajusted in account management of the nas.

Thank you for reply.
I am not talking about ShareCenter or mydlink Cloud.. The is a My Files application that shows folders and files the user has access to. The issue is that some users can see all the folders while others can't see at all.
