Title: DNR-322L Fan noisy
Post by: aaneville@outlook.com on July 30, 2013, 02:44:33 AM
I have a DNR-322L and the fan runs all the time regardless of temperature or activity. It is also a very noisy fan.

Can the fan be set to manual or auto, and if so, where?

Can I change the fan to a quieter make from quietpc.com? If so what are the specifications, dimensions, voltage, number of pins for the connector?

I've reviewed the web UI in the latest user manual and it doesn't look like there are any temperature/fan controls on this model. The ShareCenter series typically keeps the fan controls in a specific part of the web UI and I don't see it as an option in the DNR-322L.  :-\

Thank you.

I have firmware 1.40.

Is there any way of resetting the fan so that it starts and stops as it should according to the temperature?

I have not tried a full factory default reset as it took me some time to set everything up!

There should be an option to save a Configuration File which contains all your user settings. After you perform the factory reset, you can upload the configuration file to restore your settings. Make sure you use IE to save the file, as I've had issues saving and restoring the file with other brand browsers.
