Title: cang get wireless internet connection
Post by: bruins420711 on July 30, 2013, 04:33:08 PM
hi i have a dlink wireless N 150 home router model #DIR-601. yesterday it was working perfectly fine and when i woke up this morning(well afternoon) i ended trying to go on the internet and it said no connection. when i went to look at the router the earth design thats suppose to be lit up green is lit up like a orange color. and i can access internet at all. im working off of someone elses computer at there house because i cant access no internet website at all.

im not sure if the network is just down at the moment in my area(not sure how to check that) or if theres something wrong with my internet router. i checked my charter communications modem and its not that. i have tried the following:

1. unplugged router for 30 seconds and plugged back in(nothing happened)
2. unplugged ethernet cable and plugged back in(same one because i don't have another one around here)
3. tried accessing my page to sign into my router(but wouldn't let me sign into it)

not sure if i had the right web address to sign into it. not sure if anyone knows what the address is to sign into the router i have?? i haven't tried to connect to the internet with ethernet because i haven't been home since i woke up and tried to get on? if anyone knows what might be the problem let me know. thanks in advance
