Hello
I have a problem with the D-link Surveillance Center application.
I bought the DNS 325 share center, installed the Surveillance Center application to connect and record the ip camera DSC 930L. The camera works fine with the exception of this application. The camera is connected via wireless WPS to a router and the DNS is connected via cable to the same router. I have the port 80 forwarded to the DNS.
When I launch the Surveillance Center app I get an error message that “Get camera list failed”. When I run the wizard to add the cam, nothing is found. If I add the cam manually, I can see a still picture from the cam, but when I press the save button, I get another error message “Configure camera information failed.“ and the settings are not saved. I have tried restarts, upgrade firmware but nothing helped. Would anyone who knows where the problem could be give me a hint how to fix it?
Thank you very much in advance.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Surveillance Center.
Post back and let us know if that works.

Hello,
I tried uninstalling and installing the Surveillance Center but unfortunately it yield no improvement.
I am using Surveillance Center version 2.0 and NAS Firmware 1.03.
I also tried using LAN cable connection instead of wireless but the results was the same.
Do you have any other idea what to try?
Thanks in advance. I highly appreciate your effort to try to help me.

If you connect the camera to your router via Ethernet, can you access through the DNS-325?

Hi I have tried that, when I plug in the cam to the router via Ethernet cable, it makes no difference, the same problem remains. (I also disabled the wireless in the cam settings to make sure its using the cable).

I have same issue, did you get urs fixed?

What camera model are you trying to associate?

DCS 5020L
The DCS-5020L is a relatively new camera model. It's very possible that the Surveillance Center app hasn't yet been updated to support this model.
