Title: Cannot upgrade firmware on ver C1

I have the same problem as another member with a Dir-615 ver C1.  Yes I DID unzip the file and still received the wrong file error.  I then downloaded the upgrade again using a different computer but encountered the same wrong file error.

The only thing I have not tried is to reboot the router and then attempt the firmware upgrade.  I have not tried the reboot since I am currently not having any problems.

Finally solved the problem myself.  I had been using Mozilla Firefox, which is my default brower, and used Internet Explorer 8.0 instead.  The firmware update went through flawlessly.

i used mozilla-----and it did update----------but to no avail-----mine is still down!

Give IE a shot, that's what I ended up doing. If you're on a Mac you might be up a creek, I couldn't get it to work in Safari.
