Is there a cable modem attached to the router or just a LAN cable coming from the wall?
What is the IP address your inputting? IT should be different from 192.168.0.1. It should be something like ##.##.###.###.

One cable form the comp to the router and one from the router to the modem.

I recommend that you do a factory reset of the 605 router and use the set up Wizard to help you walk thru the installation of the 605L router. Ensure that your wired PC is set up for Automatic Obtain IP addressing as you don't need to input any IP addresses here nor ON the 605L router. The 605L router will get a WAN ip address from the ISP modem, at least it should automatically on the WAN side. The default IP address for the router is always 192.168.0.1 already and the DHCP pool is 192.168.0.100 thru .199. So your PC should get something from the pool along with any other devices that will connect to it.
