Title: Help with Time Config and My Network.
Post by: dyvurcz on August 20, 2013, 06:38:49 AM
Seems no matter what I do the time is always a hour behind.  Anyone else having this issue?  Also at time no devices show up at all under the my network tab and I have to do a restart to get them back.  Not really a big deal, but I often will switch priority on devices depending on what I'm doing at the time and if there are no devices showing I can't change priorities.

I presume that since NTP services are not available yet, the router is automatically getting time from a server that may not be located in your same time zone thus being an hour off. ISP could have something to so with how they maybe getting time data services as well and the router is just getting what ever it's getting.

Ok.  I didn't see an option to change the time or take the time from my pc like most dlinks usually have.  Any idea why my devices don't show up sometime?

Ya, the Time options are not there. I hope they will add that back in.  :-\

Are ALL of your devices set to reserved or DHCP on the router?

Yea every single one.  right now I can see them all.  Just sometimes not a single device will show up.  I know it must be a bug of some sort.

I might maybe at some point, do a factory reset of the router, turn OFF ALL devices accept for 1 wired LAN PC, reserve it, save settings and reboot and graduate turning on the next device and reserve it. Do this process until you have them all reserved again then see if you notice this disappearance of the devices.
