Title: DIR 300 sleep mode
Post by: bucracy on August 22, 2013, 02:02:01 AM
Hi ,

Recently i transformed my PC to a server , and after doing some research i found out that my Router go into sleep mode after sometime there is no activity in the network.
Hence , everytime i am out of home and i want to login my server i cant. so i need to ask someone inside my home network to login my network and trigger the router. which make then my server available to login remotly.

please help me to configure my DIR 300 active all the time.

Thanks
Amir

Hi ,

here some details :

1. Firmware Version : 2.01 ,  Wed 08 Jul 2009
2. region - middle east
3. my server is wired to the router
4. i have ADSL service (means DSL)
5. my speeds are : 1.8MB down ;  0.875MB up

router maybe dont actually go to SLEEP MODE like a PC.
but , i know for sure everytime there is no activity in my home network it doesnt allow remote control to my server.

Thanks
Amir
