Title: Dir-657 IPv6 settings
Post by: Hollowlog on September 02, 2013, 01:23:56 PM
I've 2 Dir-657s. 1 is the main router & the other is setup as an access point/switch with dchp disabled. IPv6 is enabled on the main router, should I have IPv6 enabled on the 2nd router?

I don't think so. it should pass thru any IPv6 info. However I'm not sure of the dependency and behavior of IPv6 while in wired AP mode. It may not work.  :-\

I'm waiting for Comcast to enable IPv6 in my area. Over a year ago they said IPv6 would be ready in mid-2013. I won't know if my routers are setup correctly until Comcast gets their act together.
