Title: DLink Reset Commands
Post by: dray0n on September 04, 2013, 04:32:29 PM
Hey All -

I have two DLink DSC-933's hooked up a ZoneMinder setup running remotely. Everything has been running smoothly.

I am wondering... Has anyone done any research into ways to reboot the cameras outside of the GUI on the web interface?  I am planning to write a script on my Linux server to issue reboot commands through code versus manually rebooting from the web GUI.

Just wanting to see if anyone has made any progress on doing this... Thanks!

If anyone needs any help doing a ZoneMinder setup, please feel free to message.

Insteon or Lowe's Iris system would work.

I have the free iris with smart plugs installed on the cams. It was cheaper start up, so that is why I went with that.

You would only need a hub and smart plug.  But getting the kit with contact sensors is more fun.
