Title: what is the standard rate (mbps) of the DAP-1522?
Post by: anonposter on May 18, 2009, 12:02:01 PM
I have a DAP connected wirelessly to a DIR-655.  I can't seem to get a rate any higher than 108 mbps.  I know that these things are very environment specific, but I'm curious what the typically range should be.  Should I be getting a higher rate?  Signal level usually bounces between 88-98%.

I don’t think there is a standard rate, but you could get higher results by trying different channels and moving both devices.

I have a dap-1522 connected to a dgl-4500 at 5GHz and the speed I get is 216Mbps rate/74% signal. I did spend a good amount of time setting up the locations of both devices to get that as the highest possible connection speed. I could move the dgl-4500 or dap-1522 a few inches and see both numbers drastically drop.
