Title: Auto-rollover not enabled DSR 1000N
Post by: vwiencek on September 14, 2013, 01:00:31 AM
Dear all,

I've bought a DSR 1000N.
I first internet connection is enabled and working on WAN 1
I have a USB 3G key plugged on USB (WAN 3)

I can manually switch between WAN 1 and 3 and it works, but I can not enable auto-rollover. The checkbox 'auto-rollover using WAN port' is disabled in DSR interface and I don't know how to enable it.

Could you please help me ?

Hardware version A1
DSR-1000N Firmware Version: 1.08B51_WW

Thank

Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection

I recommend that you download and install the following for your model router:
DSR-500N_A1_FW1.08B51_WW

There could be some minor differences between the 1000N and 500N even though FW file could be the same.

If this fails even after the re-install of FW, you'll need to phone contact your regional D-Link support office and ask them about this feature and how to configure it.

Good Luck.
