Title: DCS930L and iPad conflict with router WPS
Post by: clarowl on September 16, 2013, 07:19:59 PM
I just received a DCS-930L Wireless Network Camera today. My Medialink router does have a WPS button. When I pushed that to connect the camera, I lost my connection with my iPad2 and iPhone5. It took a while to resolve the problem and this is it:

Medialink recommends disabling WPS and, in that state, my iPs work fine. but the camera will not connect. Anyone have any ideas as to how to resolve this? Thanks in advance.

WPS is messy, I wouldn't bother with it. Plug your camera into one of the LAN ports on the back of your router, connect to the web interface, and configure your wireless connection from there.

Can also wirelessly connect to the main host routers WiFi SSID name and password in stead of using WPS.

WPS works great, at least with our NetGear WNDR3700 router
