Title: DCS-5010L - Video quality
Post by: JavaLawyer on September 18, 2013, 08:42:05 AM
Are there any DCS-5010L owners that also own other D-Link cloud cameras? I'm curious how you would rate the video image quality.

From my qualitative observations, the video image quality of the DCS-931L is far more crisp (and less pixelated) than the DCS-5010L. I would hazard to guess that the DCS-5010L falls somewhere in between the DCS-931L and DCS-932L in video image quality.

Thoughts? Other observations?

Looks similar to my DCS-5222L in VGA mode 640x352 or whatever.  The only pixelation I can see are 'rings' on both when I point them at the ceiling in night mode.  I only run in night mode, as day doesn't produce anything that is decent indoors.
