Title: Possible failed fw update
Post by: Silverking on September 21, 2013, 06:30:33 PM
Ok, so I have recently purchased a new Dlink DAP-1522 rev. B1 and was setting it up. After playing around with it for a while to get a hang of the features I reset to factory defaults. After this I set an admin password and then did the fw update from 2.02 to 2.04. After the reset I can get to the admin page but it tells me incorrect password or user name. I have tried both the blank default and also the password that I used prior to the update. Also now when doing the hard reset I am getting no change to the 'incorrect password'. Is there a way to do a fw update outside of the admin page or another way to reset to factory defaults? Thank you for your help

Try these emergency flash instructions.  Your ip will most likely be different and the default. 192.168.0.50
