The instruction manual doesn't say how to set up a printer with the router. I don't see anywhere I can plug a printer into the router.

You can add a printer if you have a print server. You cannot set the printer up through the router only as the router does not support printers.

Or put another way.........
The instruction manual doesn't say how to set up a printer with the router.
The DIR-655 doesn't provide printer port redirection.

The router would connected via Ethernet or Wireless media to a Printer (Print server).
What is the driver for the question?

If you have a network ready printer then the printer its self would have a print server integrated into the device, and would connect directly through Ethernet.

IF NOT,
Microsoft Windows has built-in services that can use a network like this to share files between other Windows based computers. Everything for file sharing is handled by the computers not the router. I can however provide you with some links to websites that offer information and instruction on how to setup file sharing. Here are a few sites outlining the setup for file and printer sharing.
