- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
Try Opera or FF? If IE 8 or 9, set compatibility mode and test again.
Try turning off these features in Chrome:
Top right corner, little bars for options > Settings > Settings (on left) > Show advanced settings.
Uncheck these:
Use a web service to help resolve navigation errors
Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar
Predict network actions to improve page load performance
Enable phishing and malware protection
I recommend that you LAN cable connect to the 505 and the log into the routers web page and manually change the Wifi SSID and PW there at 192.168.0.1.

Did you ensure that your PC was getting a correct IP address on the PCs network adapter property settings?
-
how do i know my PC getting correct IP address? ???
-
Windows 7
Control Panel
Network and Sharing Center
On left sidebar, click manage LAN adapter settings
Right click on properties or status.
In properties, there is IPv4 on the General tab. Open the properties for IPv4 and ensure that Auto Obtain IP addressing is selected for both IP and DNS.
You could also enter in a static IP address of 192.168.0.49, Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0 and Gateway of 192.168.0.1, save settings then re-open a browser and try 192.168.0.1.
Disable any 3rd party security programs like firewalls on the PC.
If this fails, I recommend that you phone contact your regional D-Link support office and inquire for more help and information.
