Device:
DNS-320B
Firmware:
Current NAS Firmware Version
1.00
Firmware Date
04/24/2012
Every time I try to update the firmware - nothing happens (altough the systems says: "successful")....
The one installed is older than a year :o
Thank you

As far as I can see that is the non beta firmware for your unit.
Just a question, what is not working that makes you look for a firmware update? If your NAS is working as it should there is no need to change anything.

Thank you for your answer!
I know that I bought a very very cheap device; its my third-device (two others are Synology).
I bought this cheap device because the only think that it should do is saving pictures from a Surveillance Cam (only pictures).
Since I am not very new to NAS, it is very difficult to configure the device.
Network settings I made get lost (I donīt know why) so that from one second to the other FTP oder NFS are disabled therefore saving isnīt possible anymore (depends Management --> "Network Share Settings") Right now i turne every Network-Option ON, and when I klick finish NFS is still OFF.........
I also searched for changing the Port (...from default 80 to xxxxx).
Uhh and now, when I log-in ... after a couple of seconds the screen: "Step 5: Formatting Hard Drives" appears :o ... strange
Beside that there are some other not so important things.
I think the two points I described can be solved with a Firmware Update (maybe), this is why I asked.
But over all, I know that the DNS320 is one of the very cheap devices so Iīm not yet unsatisfied.
...oh I forgot: the web-Interface doesnt work with Internet Explorer (desktop-pc and Laptop tested), Firefox is no problem

..now I found out:
The FTP Server has also some errors.
2 different Cams with the same settings - except one folder.
example:
\\192.168.0.214\Volume_1\Auffahrt <-- ftp access okay
and
\\192.168.0.214\Volume_1\Rueckseite <-- ftp access failed (but log in okay!)
I found out: Iīve deleted the folder "Rueckseite" using the webinterface and created it new.
Now "\\192.168.0.214\Volume_1\Rueckseite" works....
Strange.
