Was trying to get new DIR-860L to be used as an access point for an existing network. Initially configured and worked well when directly plugged into existing Asus router. Afterwards replaced current Linksys router attached to existing Actiontec ECB2500CK01 MOCA for the DIR-860L, but it does not get recognized on the network. Linksys router works fine at this MoCA, but DIR does not. Any suggestions? Is there a known incompatibility of DIR over MocA?

Did you reassign the APs ip address to match the new routers ip address pool?

I did reassign the Dlink ip and subnet to match the IP that is fixed by the asus router.

Does this MoCA have any NAT'g or a different IP address pool? I would recommend running the 860L in the B selection description for any wired AP operation for best performance. Any devices in between the 860L and the main host router would just lower performance. If you need other devices connected to the 860L, use the WiFi and the LAN ports in back of the 860L. Does seem odd that the 860L doesn't connect correctly when connected to this MoCA device.
