Title: Grant guest access to neighbors
Post by: ColtzNut on October 25, 2013, 05:50:00 AM
I currently have 3 cameras on my DLink Cloud account.  I would like to grant access only to my outside camera for the 2 neighbors, so they can look at the yard as well.  I created a new user account through the camera interface, but I'm not sure where they go for acccess.  They wouldn't have a MyDLink account and they can't access through my local network.  What I would like is for them to access the feed through the web or via a mobile app, if possible.  Am I missing something?  Thanks!!

you can provide third party users with direct access to your camera using port forwarding on your router. Once port forwarding is enabled and a port is assigned, users would enter something like this:

Alternatively, you can try the relatively new D-Link mobile app, Justconnect+, which is currently only available on the iPhone platform. The app does not use mydlink. Not having tested the app myself, I'm not sure of its ability to enable third party users to access guest accounts. The Justconnect+ board is located here: Justconnect+ (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=371.0)
