Title: Multimedia share, duplicate folders
Post by: jabbarcelona on November 02, 2013, 08:28:33 AM
Hello,
When I put more videos on the DNS320L, then i make a refresh to share the new videos to the home network, but when I access from the smart TV, or other players, there are folders duplicated with content inside from other folders, example:
real folders:
Breaking bad 1
Breaking bad 2
The shield 1

but from tv i see:
Breaking bad 1 (with the shield files)
Breaking bad1 (with breaking bad files)
Breaking bad 2
The shield 1 (with the shield 1 files)
..

Did you create multiple shared directories pointing to the same original content? It looks like your media players are picking up the source files from two references (shares) pointing to the same source directories.

I don't know what you mean.
I save the files in different folders of the DNS320L, one folder for each different show, but after refresh content, from the diferent multimedia players or smart TV that show the multimedia server, i have the problem of the duplicated folders.
I don't do anything different from the beggining that i have the DNS and i didn't have this isssue until now
