Title: DCS-2210 Email Server Test Error

Hi everyone!

We use DCS-2210 with PoE and firmware - 1.20. We have met issue with setting up email server. I filled in all fields, pressed Save settings and pressed Test. And result is "Test Error". Email settings: server - smtp.gmail.com; port - 587; Selected - This server requires a secure connection (StartTLS). Also I tried different emails, options, but no results. Need advice. Thanks.

I had this issue setting up a DCS-2230 and found that e-mail started working after rebooting the camera, for some inexplicable reason.

I found, that CAM doesn't work with configuration for Static IP, but when CAM configured for DHCP  and connected via router everything is ok.

I've had exactly the same problem, and I've tested all possible combination without success... Always get test error, also with dynamic IP, static. or whatever. Any ideas?
