Title: My DNS is not downloading torrents
Post by: Symcy1994 on November 10, 2013, 12:36:58 PM
Hello,

I have isue with my DNS-320 NAS device. I added few torrents and none of them is downloading even if torrent have 200+ seeders. So I was playing around with that to try find the problem.
If I make torrent on my PC (which is connected to same router as my DNS-320) everything works fine. Torrent get downloaded on DNS-320. Also when I delete torrent files on my PC, DNS-320 will seed torrent back on my PC. SO in LAN it works great.
FTP connection via FilleZila: in LAN works with no problems
FTP connection via FileZila also works in WAN with no problems (I connected my DNS-320 via 3G network with my mobile device).

But when I try to dowload some public torrents, it just won't start downloading.

I also have setted DDNS on router and NAS and that also works with no problems.

I'm using "ASUS RT-N10U" router and set some setting ... also on my DNS I have looked over setting and try to make it work, but no success.
So can someone please tell me what am I doing wrong and what do I have to do if I want to download torrents to my DNS-320.

Why is your Local-IP set to 192.168.1.110 instead of 172 for BT?

I changed that to .172, but it was still the same isue, so I just reseted all settings and now everything works fine :)

Well, probably a quirk with the built-in BT client which is why I ditch it long ago.
