Just wondering because there are multiple iPhones and iPads on my home network that all utilize iCloud, which completely hogs our upload for minutes at a time whenever a cloud backup is in progress. I'm finding it impossible to play games on other devices when this is going on (latency gets to ~2s) because the DGL-5500 seems to be giving all upload bandwidth to the device doing the backup (my upload is rather small at ~550kbps). Does StreamBoost not support upload prioritization or is my upload just too small to deal with? Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
- What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
Not sure if this helps any:

You might want to phone contact D-Link support and ask...
Your uplink is kind of low for streaming and gaming. I would recommend getting into 1-2Mb uplink speeds if possible.

Any status on this? ???

I was able to solve this issue by turning off auto bandwidth estimation and manually setting my upload to something smaller than what it actually is (in my case I set it to 400kbps, when it is around 550kbps in reality).
Lost some uploading speed of course but I was able to game at a normal latency even during the iCloud uploads.

Glad you got it working. Thanks for sharing the info.
Enjoy.

Have you tried the v1.12 beta? ???
