Hi all.
When I set the QOS type to "Priority by Protocol" in DAP-1522, I see the followings listed in the "Advance QOS" section:
Ethernet to Wireless : kbits/sec ,default:71680 kbits/sec
Wireless to Ethernet : kbits/sec ,default:71680 kbits/sec
ACK/DHCP/ICMP/DNS Priority : Voice Limit : %
Web Traffic Priority : Best Effort Limit : %
Mail Traffic Priority : Video Limit : %
Ftp Traffic Priority : Background Limit : %
Other Traffic Priority : Background Limit : %
Can someone please explain how these "limit %" supposed to work?
Are they suppose to limit the upload bandwidth used by the specified traffic type?
If I would like to get optimal performance out of my VoIP phone adapter, what would be the recommended priority and limit % settings?
Thanks.

Have you tried using “Priority by LAN Port”?
-
I don't think "Priority by LAN Port" is helpful because my VoIP is connected to my DAP-1522 wirelessly.
-
Oh, so you're using it as an AP. What other devices do you have connected to it?
-
I have one laptop and one PC connected to DAP-1522 wirelessly.
