Hi,
I wonder if someone ran into similar problem as well:
Initially I had just one HDD in my DNS-320L – a 3TB WD Caviar Green (WD30EZRX). A week or so ago I added another one, formatted and set it as RAID 1. However, the status keeps resetting to “Degraded”. When I log in to the control panel, it greets me with the following message:
“Warning : The device with Raid 1 is degraded now. Please remember to rebuild the Raid 1 for data integrity.”
So I click the rebuild button. The log then says "Volume_1 Is Rebuilding” and sync percentage bar is moving and everything seems fine. Approximately after 12 hours it finishes and log has a new entry saying "Volume_1 Has Been Rebuilt”. Thing is that next time I log, it greets me with the same error message and shows that RAID status has “Degraded”. I've repeated this process probably five times already. HDDs are fine, at least they pass all the tests (SMART and scan). What do?

The same thing happens to me, anyone? Thanks in advance.

Similar thing happening to me. DNS-320LW (Firmware Version 1.02)
Had one disk and added another. Did the convert to raid 1 procedure. Started to rebuild and when the counter reaches 1% it exits. It still says "degraded" in disc configuration, but the event log is showing an entry Volume rebuilt. Repeated this several times, and gave up. Now I'm backing up my data and will reformat the raid.
