Hello
hope someone here can shed some light/thoughts
We have Radius server with single ssid working perfectly with 2 dap 2100 and 1 dap 2360
We removed the 2100s and replaced with 2 2360, so all devices are the same with updated fw
Then we had problems where all users will disconnect from the AP, they will still be connected to the ap but get a 169 IP with the windows 7 clients showing limited connectivity. This happens every 1-2 hours and very frustrating.
A reboot of the ap will solve the problem temporarily, and there are alot of Reason 8 when they disconnect on the AP device.
We use wpa2-enterprise, WPA mode AUTO, Cipher AUTO
Tried changing WPA mode, channel, key update and even setup a new radius server, but the problem still happens.
The old APs are no longer accessible.
This has been happening 5 days now
any ideas?

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
- Set current Time Zone, Date and Time. Use an NTP Server (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=48695.0) feature. Tools/Time.

- What wireless modes are you using?
- 2.4Ghz Routers only: Try single mode G or N or mixed G and N?
- Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
- Try setting a manual Channel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wireless_channel) to a open or unused channel. 1, 6 or 11. 11 for single mode N if the channel is clear.
- What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Encryption_Standard), so you might want to try TPIK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temporal_Key_Integrity_Protocol) only or Auto TPIK and AES.
- What wireless devices do you have connected?
- Any cordless house phones?
- Any other WiFi routers in the area? Link> Use InSSIDer (http://www.metageek.net/) to find out. How many?
- If you have any of these options, Try turning OFF or ON Short GI (http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/wireless/wireless-features/30969-what-do-80211ns-optional-features-mean-for-you), WLAN Partition, HT 20/40 Co-existence and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Recommended settings are default. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
- Enable WMM Enable (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=50738.0) Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.

HI;
I succefully configured my DAP-2360 with multiple SSIDs, vlan, trunk..
But I notice that when enabling encryption to protect my ssids with passwords (through open system), I no longer reach my internal network..
I heard that there is some problemes with Multiple SSIDs and encryption?
I cannot let my SSID without passwords!
Any help will be appreciated :)

Any options like WLAN Partition or Routing Between Zones available on the DAPs?
If not, I recommend that that you phone contact your D-Link support office and ask about this issue and get immediate help.
Let us know how it goes...
