Title: ePTZ does not work and no audio
Post by: ouija on November 30, 2013, 10:07:50 AM
A couple of questions: How is the ePTZ functions of this camera supposed to work?  I've tried controlling the camera from within IE and this functionality does nothing.  Also, do I need to connect the camera to an actual microphone or something for the audio to work?  When I try to listen to it, I hear static/room noise but it's not actually picking up anything...

Not super impressed with the interface on this unit, when compared to that of the DCS-5222L

OK, well answered my own question regarding audio (no built in one like the DCS-5222L / requires an external mic to be plugged in).

ePTZ however still does NOTHING for me.

ePTZ works only if the visualization window is less than the total image dimension.
