Hello there!
As the title says my DNS-320L doesn't want to boot up. Everything was working fine, until today I shared 2 more folders on UPnP then restarted the Sharecenter. It told me to wait 2 minutes, and after several minutes it was still booting.
I turned it off then back on didn't help
I've pushed the small reset button multiple times, didn't help.
I rebooted the rooter, didn't help.
I unplugged the NAS than back again, didn't help.
I tried to switch the hard drive from the right bay to the left (as I'm using only one), and even tried to boot it without a hard disk. Neither of them worked.
Any help will be appreciated!
Regards,
Robert
PS: I was on firmware v1.03b04 and had fun_plug and Transmission installed.

Although you mentioned trying the reset button, did you follow the procedure for a factory reset? While the DNS-320L is powered-up, press and hold the reset button for > 9 seconds.

Yes.

I just heard back from D-Link. Unfortunately, if the box is freezing at boot the way you're describing, there is usually a hardware issue (e.g. memory or ROM chipset issue) that can't be fixed from your end. I was advised that you should contact customer support and request an RMA. 1-888-851-6464.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
Please post back and let us know how things work out.

that also happens when the box lose powers while writing and a disk require to be checked .
dns-320l internal disk check tool is mostly useless, mount the disk on a linux pc and run fsck from there.
