Title: Mydlink lite unable to connect (1_0_4_3_0_7F)
Post by: desloh on December 04, 2013, 08:56:21 AM
Hi,

I have problem to connect my router from mydlink lite for my Android phone from external network. But if I try on my home network from Wifi, no problem.

Mydlink Lite ver: 3.1.2 (try downgrade to 3.1.1 also same problem)

Phone info
Samsung S3 LTE, Android ver: 4.1.2

Router info:
Model: DIR-868L
Hardware Ver: A1
Firmware Ver: 1.02 (try upgrade to 1.04 also same problem)

Region: Singapore

I have tried iOS7 on iPhone/iPad on both home or external network, and is working fine. Please help, thanks.

Are you able to log into mydlink and see your router from an Internet browser?

The Android and iPhone apps have two different development tracks. Sometimes relatively new D-Link products that are supported by one app platform aren't immediately updated in the other platform. I'm guessing that this may be the root cause.

I also unable to access my DIR-868L from outside my own network across the Internet.

When I login to my Dlink across a web browser or through the App on android, I can see the device and it has a tick next to it.

But I am unable to access the device using either method.

Revision A Software 1.04 located in UK.

The location you are accessing from has some ports blocked. I get this from some coffee shops, but not others.
Unfortunately I don't know which port is blocked :-(
