Which has a wider field of view 7010L or 2332L? I see conflicting numbers across DLinks product information. The manuals say the 7010 has a 60deg diagonal FOV and the 2332 has 66deg FOV. Then the website says the 7010 has an 83deg FOV and the 2332 has 66deg.
I sure would like the 82deg but don't want to buy it to find out is has less than my current 2332.

I'll see if I can get some definitive specifications. :-\

Thanks. Just to be clear i'm looking for the Diagonal Field of View or Diagonal Angle of View (same thing). Looking at the chip (1/4in CMOS) in both the 7010 has a focal length of 4.3mm and the 2332 has a FL of 3.45mm which would suggest the 2332 is wider. But I hope I'm wrong.

I have a response back from D-Link regarding the FOV specifications:
- Datasheet on dlink.com has the correct FOV values: (Field of View: (H) 47°, (V) 37°, (D) 60°)
- Product page on dlink.com under "Specs" has incorrect values
- User Manual has incorrect values
D-Link is going to fix the incorrect references.

Thanks for the follow up.
Just to clarify the 7010L has 60deg diagonal FOV and the 2332L has 66deg. This is according to the datasheet on each cam. Is this correct?

The information I provided in my last post was all D-Link sent back to me. I immediately sent a follow-up request asking which model camera they were referring to (7010L vs. 2332L) and haven't heard back.
I'm not sure if that's enough information for you to go on... :-\
