Title: DNS problem | Acces Control
Post by: BigBoyFoF on December 14, 2013, 02:37:42 PM
Hello,

i'm a new owner of a Dlink DIR-868L.

I have some problem that is have to plug out the power every day beaceaus my DNS on the dir-868L is some how not correct. When i don't have internet i check DNS on Device info then i get the next info.

IP Address: 192.168.0.170
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS Server : 192.168.0.1
Secondary DNS Server :

after pulling him out of the power i get a good DNS of my isp. Already disabled DNSrelay but that doesn't seem to work. Before i had a DIR-635 didn't have this problem ?

On ACCES CONTROL page i made some rules to block all acces for some hours for the kids. But it seem not to be solid ? XBOX360 stay whit full access and the ip is setup well on the acces control. The PC's on that same rule are blocked :/
