Why don't Dlink releases documentation so that other people can produce Apkg add-ons?

We haven't released an official firmware with apkg support. When we have officially opened the flood gates, we will look into.

What exactly can you do with the NFS add-on?  Or better yet a little explaination.  I'm Linux/Unix ******ed.

NFS is to Linux as SMB is to Windows.  I.e. their native file sharing protocol.
