Hi I have 2 DNAS320 drives, I am using both drives, now I want to copy all the files from the first NAS drive to the 2nd NAS drive. I don't want to setup again all the existing usernames on the first drive to the 2nd drive. Is there a way to copy the usernames of the 1st NAS drive to the 2nd NAS drive?
Please help me on this. Thanks!

Bit more info around what you are trying to achieve might help. By 2 DNS320 Drives do you mean you have two physical DNS320 and you want to replicate the data between the two devices or do you mean you have two Drives in a single DNS320 that you want to replicate the data.
If you have two devices then you can save the config on one and load on the other but remember it will initially have the same name / ip etc until you reconfigure it (never tried though and not sure what is saved in the backup). That *should* recreate users shares permissions etc and save you typing it in other than the odd bits you'll need to change and would be worth taking that or the other 320 off the network while you do the work.
if its two disks in one unit then use mirroring?

Expanding on hopp1's suggestion, if you own two DNS-320s and want to replicate the user settings, you can use the following procedure: DNS ShareCenter - Configuration Settings File (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=41866.0)
(1) Save a Configuration Settings File from DNS-320 #1
(2) Upload the DNS-320 #1 Configuration Settings File to DNS-320 #2
(3) You will need to change the device name and any device-specific settings (e.g. static IP address etc.) that may cause a network conflict
This solution is predicated on you owning two DNS-320s, which is unclear from your post. ;)

I plan to copy users from #1 to #2 then decommission #1,thanks for the help I'll try your suggestions

Since we've established that you're migrating your data and settings from DNS-320 #1 to DNS-320 #2, please make sure both DNS-320s are running the same firmware version. The configuration settings file may not work properly if the two DNS-320s have different firmware.
Post back and let us know how things work out. ;)

Procedure worked,thanks a lot!
