Title: creating playlists from itunes server

hey..is there a way where we can create playlists frm the itunes server directly...i mean take songs frm the shard device n add to a playluist..playlist can be stored on pc or dns-323 hdd....
also whn large number of songs are ther on the dns...arnd 20gb...it doesnt load in itunes..i tried on a pc and a laptop...it just doesnt load..wen i reduce the number of songs it workd.,..any idea ?..

The current version of the iTunes Server (mt-daapd) is quite old and needs updating. It has already been updated in the latest version of our beta and next firmware will have it. It supports playlist creation as well as 50,000+ songs.
