Title: Intel 3945ABG and dir-655
Post by: karas on October 20, 2007, 04:39:32 PM
Hello
I have lenovo t60 laptop with intep wireless 3945ABG card and i'm using Access Connections. I found one weard thing the signal strength is changing even if laptop is in one place is changing from 100% to 77% or lower random and not very often. and the transmit rate is changing from 54 to 48 or sometimes to 36 Mbps. How should i setup my wireless card to have stable signal strength and transmit rate? When i upgrade drivers to the latest is even worse. Right now i have driver no. 10.1.0.11 thank you for your help
Krzysztof

The wireless signals must pass through the objects between the laptop and the router  Typical ranges vary depending on the types of  materials and background RF noise in your home. You may use the static transmission rate to have a consistency.
