I've always wondered why my IP never changes even though I had the setting on "Dynamic IP (DCHP)". Here's a picture of the setting:

I hope someone can help me with my problem ASAP.

- What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under router.
- Link>What Firmware (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=47512.0) version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
- What region are you located?
The WAN IP address the router gets is from the ISP and is responsible for any changes. If the router reboots, it's up to the ISP to change the IP address if that's there policy. Normally some ISPs change the WAN IP address every so often. You'll need to ask them about this. Some ISP don't change the WAN IP address and give customers a static IP address that never changes.

Any status on this? ???

Generally, lease times with an ISP are very long. The only way I've been able to change my ip has been to leave the modem unplugged for a day or two or switch routers or enable mac cloning.
