Title: DLNA, D-link 320LW and Samsung UE40ES5500
Post by: LosGalacticos on January 09, 2014, 11:06:45 AM
Hello everyone,

I have just bought NAS server D-link 320LW and the plan was to stream media via DLNA to my TV Samsung UE40ES5500. So far my plan has not become reality :-( I installed it, set up it according manual, enabled UPnP server (DLNA) and iTunes server,  selected shared folder etc etc. I can even see my NAS in Source menu on TV, but when I open it, it seems completely empty, although there are several movies in .avi, .mkv etc, all my iTunes library, 100+ photos...everything copied on HDD in NAS server.

So, I am able to open media folders on TV, but they are empty...no media is displayed.

Naturrally, I spent few hours on Google, searching for any solution which can be helpfull but I didnt found anything. Pls dont say to me that that Samsung piece of crap cant do it  ??? ???

I would very thankfull for any kind of help or advise. Thx in advance

I have the same problems with my TV - the D-Link DLNA is totally unreliable. So I bought a WD media Player which can directly acces the stored media on the 320 L and the problem has gone.
