Title: Shareport doesnt autoconnect

Hi

I have shareport configured to start with windows. My shareport do find the harddrive i have connected to my D-Link DIR655, but it doesnt automatically connect to it.

 I am using the latest version of Shareport for Windows 64-bit and im using the latest driver for the router. Its very annoying to press connect every time i start the computer, even need to press connect after the computer has been in sleeping mode.

Are there any way to fix this issue ?

Shareport version: 1.2

Router fw: 1.37 EU

Shareport doesn't auto reconnect. I believe as you manually have to click on the connect button each time.

Ok! Thats a shame really, especially when using harddrive for automatic backup =(

You might want to check the options of the SP program to see if there is any auto-reconnect, if there isn't then you'll have to manually connect it.

One solution if you are remote, use Teamviewer on the local and remote PC, if you need the drive connected to your local PC, log in from the remote PC and you can get it connected.

Well there are the option to autostart SP with windows, and to auto detect devices, no autoconnect. But i red in some forum posts that the autoconnect option was actually in the older versions of SP but later taken away? Dat true ?

I don't know...it's possible..you have an old version. All newer versions are v3 and v4 now...

Well now i see there are much newer version, but on dlink website in the download section of dir 655, version 1.2 is newest =P

I tryed both Shareport version v4.2 and v4.11, but it wont find the device.. Allso tryed version 3.1. I even tryed to install SX Virtual Link. The only program thats find the device is Shareport 1.2 =(

I have tryed to disable the firewall.
Multicast Streaming is activated on router.
Time and date is the same on router and computer.

I've heard that other users have better success with v1.x than any other with there Rev A routers.

Ensure that the drive you are connecting is NTFS formatted and no larger than 500Gb...Only official supported size.

Okey, well the harddrive im using is 1 or 2 tb cant remember.
