Title: DMZ problem
Post by: bog_dan_ro on January 11, 2014, 12:13:24 PM
Hello,

I just changed my old route with a d-link dir-826l router and I tried to activate DMZ (Advanced->Firewall Settings->DMZ Host: here I checked "Enable DMZ" and I put my internal static IP address there :192.168.0.2)  but it doesn't seem to work. I have "Hardware Version: A1 Firmware Version: 1.02". It is a know issue or is just me? I want to mention that I had no problems with DMZ on my old router.

Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

Router and Wired Configurations
Some things to try: - Log into the routers web page at 192.168.0.1. Use IE, Opera or FF to manage the router.

Ensure that have you set up the DMZ, that you reboot the router and the device that is in the DMZ...Is True Gigabit Routing enabled?

What is this device that your putting in the DMZ?

It was my linux computer that I tried to put in the DMZ. Anyway, upgrading the firmware to 1.04 fixed the problem, now the DZM works correctly.
